This piece is Amanda's homage to her mother who lost a battle with cancer in the summer of 2009. The sparrow represents peace, love, freedom, joy and many other things that represented Amanda's mother, Elizabeth. This piece is a small reminder that though her mom isn't with us anymore, her memories live on in our hearts, and her spirit is soaring on wings like eagles in heaven surrounded by the glory of her Father God.
