@ZigZigler All it is, is that it's different, that's what people seem to focus on. It's still very good music and definitely better than a lot, lot of other stuff. Huge kudos to Katie too with the music she's making now, as different as it is from Jakalope, she is really very good at it. They're both just doing what they can & want to do, no one should hate them for that, indeed.

I think people are being way too hard on Chrystal Leigh (new singer) - as a new fan I lack the predisposed affinity towards Katie that long-time fans seem prone to... I think both singers have their own merits & unique qualities, so just because the band has a different feel is no reason to hate it - bands evolve so get over it. Chrystal is as talented & sexy as Katie was, if not more so. It'd be ridiculous to expect any new singer to emulate the old one, so accept it & embrace it or move on..

wow, funny how i see a lot of people dissing this for their old stuff. a friend of mine is a promoter for their up coming show in seattle and i thought i'd check it out only to find some really shitty pop rock and after watching what i could stand of the old video's this is the first thing i've heard that doesn't make my ears bleed.

you're all narrow minded, ogre is a fucking genius, listen to his new album and the newest skinny puppy, they are amazing, which begs the question then... if he is currenntly (as we speak) making good music and this came out at the same time, then how can it be garabage.... OH YA, you all are just fucking tools, this album thus far has a very "song of faith and devotion" feel, and i think it's incredible... oh, and by hating jakalope, you hate trent reznor as well, so suck on that

To me it's don't judge a book by it's cover. Most people assume that the mob is going to lynch the black man and his family. In reality, they're going after the band members who appear to be witches based on the skull.

I could be wrong, but that's what I got. Most people, like the man and his wife and daughter, were as surprised as anyone when the mob went right by them.
