well, I don't remember why I used andromeda as a reference at the time, but I am certainly not stupid. and arturia origin is a hardware synth, since it's not a vst anymore, once they put it in a hard case. also, there is no much difference beween modern digital synthes and vst synths. it's all digital, so what exactly do you want from me? mister zzzxtreme, I think you're the stupid one, you fucking idiot.

comparing arturia to hardware synth? are you stupid

Does anyone have any experience with the latency ??
Is it at least as fast as MIDI ?
-
it's $2999 (USD) now, i'd call that a better deal than a Virus or Andromeda

I don't know... looks like a lot of matrix editing to me.. for that kind of money I'd expect a touchscreen or some kind of keyboard. They just seem to have replaced a laptop mouse with that one big knob. Every video I see is some guy scrolling through pages with that one knob.

I've seen on internet that the price is around $3500 (USD) at the moment. It's another great keyboard in the Fairlight, Synclavia, Open Labs, Korg Oasys, Kurzweil style etc
eh? make it sound asshole!

well for some of us, sound is still an object, and Arturia's product's sound was always thin, cold and very not life-like. at least the virus sounds good (questionably?) and the andromeda actually has analog oscillators and filters... the origin is a nice gimic, but all that "all in one" keyboards don't really do it for me... btw, I've heard the roland V-synth has some nice sounds in it...
sorry for bashing arturia, this is just my opinion, you can always laugh at me!
bye
