  • Awesome work!!! :)

  • Because of the story and encompassing of the Help-Portrait idea, I really like this video, it is what I point people to for recruitment and outreach. Suggestion, update the tail for the current year. The 2011 video is also very good.

  • I had such a great experience with this event last year and looking forward to another this year;) I would encourage ANYONE no matter what you bring to the table ( photographers, makeup artists, hair stylists, volunteers or those who simply want to donate..) to FIND a local event and be a part of it;)

  • well done

  • love, love, love this. As an amateur, I wish I would have known about this earlier. I would have loved to help out. Will this be happening again?

  • This is a truly wonderful project -- you've made these people feel noticed and special -- and it can turn people around.

Good for you! Now I have to figure out how to organize something similar where I live. Thank you!

  • I had a lot of fun at this event. I was the makeup artist when I helped out in the women's shelter here in New York. I had fun time getting to know each woman individually. Not every single woman wanted makeup, so it was their choice to opt out. It was still fun to see how happy they were with their kids and seeing their expression on their faces when they saw the results of their pictures. It didn't cost a thing but just your time and efforts. Now they have a lifetime memory in a picture.

  • this is so beautiful! thank you, whoever started this!

  • does anyone know what the music is at the intro of this video?

  • Beautiful!! I'm a Big Sis in the Big Bros/Big Sis organiztion, and this opportunity has been made available to my little sis and her family. What a wonderful gift. Thank you!!
