  • I agree with most of what your saying. It was before that banks wouldnt give loans to people who couldnt afford it. Then democtats decided that was unfair and passed guidlines so that alost anyone could get a loan. your right. the banks dont care, they get the bailout money their happy. The democrats get to try to blame bush so there happy. And the people who bought the house say its bush's fault and are disillusioned with what they think obamas going to do so there happy. Everybody wins?

  • They all think Obama is their savior. They said the Bush tax cuts and Bush Bailout was a bad move but what about the Stimulus program? That's a government supported spending spree too but somehow they seem to think it's a good idea. What do you and I know?

  • Well, I agree somewhat, but you are only telling a small part of the story. There is alot of blame being put on the buyer, but when Corporate America ships hundreds of thousands of jobs out of the country, then what does the buyer do?? Our government and corporate America are destroying America. The fact is Americans are losing their jobs overseas and down south. (and by the way, that is not counting all the jobs lost to illegal immigrants). This is a unbiased viewpoint,I havent lost my job, yet

  • You're right but the bail out is only a some of the financial crisis. I'm not sure how jobs going overseas has to do with this issue. It's an equally trouble some problem but the bailout is on the banks and lending. PS I try whenever I can to buy American I agree about keeping jobs home as much as possible. I value my job too but if Mr Obama gets in and taxes the coroprations like he says he is going to outsourcing is going to intensify.

  • I agree with a lot of what you said though jobs need to be kept at home as much as possible. With very few exceptions this country should not have to rely entirely on importing much of anything.

  • thanks i dont always agree with you, but this was a simple way of explaining a complex issue.

  • Thanks. And you're free to disagree with me I am not so monster egotist that you can't discuss with me even if you have a different opinion.

  • And I dont mean new party. Both political parties have failed us.

  • Thanks for replying. The main point I am tyring to make is that the media is misleading people. Alot of buyers have made bad decisions, but a whole lot of American buyers have lost jobs, hence can't make their house payments, car payments, etc. and jobs are becoming even more scarce, with more layoffs coming. On top of that, banks and corp. America are just greedy, plain and simple. Look at Executive pay, fees, etc. We are in a mess, and like you said we need to try and be positive, with change.

  • I agree. It's that most of these people were so wrapped up on having something they thought was out of their price range they didn't ask too many questions.
