@basspig Do you know, I don't think it's all that difficult, actually. There are lots of folks from youtube who, though they are not "professionals", put music on iTunes and Amazon. If you ever DID put out a CD, I'd be one of your first customers. Although, just getting the music put up as a digital download would be faster and less expensive, or so I would imagine.

@basspig I'm picky. I'll check out the other fellow, but if doesn't live up to this, like I said before, I'd be more than happy to pay for it. Shoot, I'd recommend putting this on iTunes or Amazon.

Nice organ case and so sinister and grim sounding much like a waltz

Is your rendition up for sale? I would be happy to pay for it!

@lanceyourlot It's based closely on the Lemare transcript, which, I believe, is in the public domain now. The transcription for organ by Edwin Lemare.

@basspig No, there's nothing quite comparable to what you've made. Checked it out.

@lanceyourlot That's a very nice compliment. I do this out of passion though; it is a hobby. It's how I relax and explore musical fantasies. I never thought of it in a commercial vein before. Even so, the market for such a recording would be extremely small. Not really worth the cost of distribution. Does anyone know what's involved with getting something like this up on iTunes? As a single, that might be the only practical way.
I was hoping I'd have 4-5 pieces ready for a CD release.

Very cool. I always thought this piece was perfectly suited for an organ transcription but they seem hard to find. I got a kick out of the equipment, nice to see names like Phase Linear and Carver again...what model Marantz reciever was that? Back when serious US made equipment was the norm!

@flyurway That was a Marantz 2270. I bought it in '78 from a prior owner. I recently sold it on eBay for pretty close to the same number of dollars as purchased. It was mainly a token item. I liked Marantz back from 1968 or so because of the style of the design. It was not a good sounding amplifier though.
