This is an extremely personal video.

It's about being in an unhealthy relationship (or friendship) and reaching the point where you have to decide between surrendering (to avoid a fight, becoming an object) or rebelling (and dealing with the consequences).

Vriska represents the Infected (the one who is manipulated).
Terezi represents the Parasite (the abuser).
Aradia represents the Mirror (the subconscious OR a person very close to the Infected)
Tavros represents the Door (an imaginary person that the Infected wishes for, a way to escape)
Karkat is simply another Infected who, unlike Vriska, has already given up.

Knowing this information, I think understanding the meaning of the video is easy.

I like the video but what confuses me is... Vriska is the abusive one in the friendship, she hurts and kills her friends, and blinds Terezi. I don't see the roles fitting. Anyway Vriska is my favourite and I love this vid.

I was merely using the characters as a way to represent my feelings, and Vriska was perfect to be the abused since she gets beaten up a lot (and Aradia helped with the ''X person/subconscious telling her to snap out of it'' thing).
