Hi, so the gold will adhere naturally at 350-degrees? Do you use common gold leaf or do you cut a disc of gold from thin sheet? Great tutorial, thank you!

Hi, Yes, the gold foil (24 K) will bond with fine silver (.999) between 350 °C and 550 °C. There is a surface molecular exchange at this temperature. The gold foil must be thick enough to not disapear in silver, you should be able to cut it with scisors.
