I think Jay is a fantastic, personable and funny comedian. Not dry humor like Letterman. Who can forget his Uma vs Oprah comment during the Oscars trying to be funny. Letterman thinks making facial mannerisms and playing with his suit is funny. Boring!

6:00 Steve Allen did do man on the street interviews! Howard and Jay need to man up and admit they both stole from Steve Allen. That is the only thing i disagreed with Howard on.  Howard and Rosie brought their A game!

I´ve never found Jay funny. He is ´safe.´ He is perfect for older people sitting at home who want to watch a late show. He is not edgy or funny or witty etc. I watched The Tonight show because of the guests...never because of Jay.

The only thing I disagree with Howard about is when he said that Conan stole the Tonight Show out from Jay Leno like Jay stole it from Letterman. There's a big difference between stealing, and renegotiating your contract.

Conan's contract was up in 2004. He was getting offers from other networks. He wanted an 11:30 timeslot, and NBC offered him The Tonight Show. He didn't force NBC's hand into doing anything. Also, Jay had 5 YEARS to figure out his next job. Letterman didn't have that luxury.

when the whole conan thing went on i didnt hear all the facts of the situation but in the end Conan was treated wrongly by the network, but he will be picked up somewhere else and hes fine finacially. I'm sure leno will be doing alot of ass kissing towards people for a while
