Why Did You Have to Leave? Chapter 1

*ELIZABETH'S POV*

Well, here I am...2 weeks til I turn 19...Court just told me that she is moving to LA...but she is bringing me and Krys with her because I want to launch a career in singing and Krys wants to pursue acting...Mom and Dad are cool with it...I am looking forward to it. But I wish I could tell my best friend. You see, aside from my sisters, I have 3 other best friends...Their names are Nick, Kevin, and Joe...and YES they are the Jonas Brothers...The six of us grew up together...We practically lived together because we were always at each others' houses! But then, the boys became a famous band... Joe was my best, BEST friend before he left for L.A. But in the past 2-3 years, he hasn't returned phone calls or emails, like Kevin and Nick have...My sisters and I are not telling them we are moving to L.A. because we want to surprise them...But their parents know...Denise and Kevin Sr. are the only Jonas's that know about the move...you see, they have been best friends with my mom and dad, Anne and James, since high school...and Denise and Kevin Sr. are like my second parents. Anyway, I wish I could tell Joe, but even if I could, he wouldn't answer my calls or messages...I gave up calling a year ago. I figured I wasn't good enough for him anymore..but I still love him...yes, I, Elizabeth Marie Anderson, am in love with Joseph Adam Jonas. But I can never tell him that...I still remember the day they left...

**FLASHBACK—KEV/COURT—18; JOE/LIZ—16; NICK/KRYS—13**

Liz: Hey guys!! I am gunna miss you so much!

Kevin/Nick: We are gunna miss you too Lizzie-bear! *hug Liz*

Court/Krys: And what about us??

K/N: We are gunna miss you too!!! *hug Court and Krys*

Liz: Hey, have you seen Joe? I need to talk to him before you guys leave.

Kev: I haven't seen him...

Nick: Neither have I, but *looks at his watch*, Oh Snap! Kev, we gotta go!!

Kev: Already? Aw man, well girls this is good bye for now! Remember you can call any of us at anytime ok?

Girls: Okay...

*Meanwhile, Liz is on the verge of tears as she watches the boys' bus pull away...*

Back 2 ELIZABETHS POV

That remains to be one of the most painful memories I have...I was going to tell Joe that I was in love with him that day...and since he left, he hasn't called, or written...he won't even answer the phone or messages...but Kevin and Nick manage to call me as much as they call my sisters...maybe I should forget about Joe and move on...
