  • This appears to be the ending credits version of the movie? Stars when Matthau hears the sneeze! I think the beautiful reprise at 1:48 was only played at the end of the movie.

    Totally badass song!

  • Most observant... I'm impressed.

I chose to use the end because at the start the music is gradually faded down as the audio (street noise) comes up, so I couldn't get a clean end to the soundtrack there.

Matthau's face after the sneeze is fantastic! A great ending to an awesome film.

  • This is so clever! How did u do it?!

  • A great piece of software called "Processing"

  • Pretty clever thing you did with the pic of the building.

  • ooooooooh i get ya. cool. oh i hear them too now that i think about it, yeah, it does sound like chugging. cool. i always loved this song.

  • they are called triplets and they begin at 1:46. "da da DA , da da DA, da da Da really quick. Like a chugging. They are repeated nine or ten times and they are purposely in the background representing the inevitable image of the train.

  • i cant hear the train.

  • i love the music they play when they are approaching the door of the first motorman's house.......very erie. the tuba (or whatever) in this song kinda gives it an erie feeling.........especially if its only the tuba and no other instruments......kinda like the Jaws theme. this is such an awesome movie and song can you send me the song please??

  • great sound

  • French horns at 1:33 provide depth and a distance dimension. Genius. I hear a train at 1:46.

2:29 through the ending gives me chills.
