Google "Ratzinger pontifical secret" and you will see that before becoming Pope that Joseph was in charge of keeping the scandal under wraps - was more concerned about image than fixing the problem. Add "Houston" to that Google and read how Ratzinger claimed head-of-state diplomatic immunity to side-step lawsuits in the United States.

I didnt claim you were protestant or any thing else. 3 As for the 0.004% of Catholic religious who have commited these crimes they have been condemmed inside (including excommunication) & outside the church.  4 The Church was slow in picking up what was going on in these extreamly rare cases as it is totally contrary to what we stand for. 5 We now have the most robust child protection procedures
