The year A.D 4000 and Mavic Chen, Guardian of the Solar System, has just betrayed the Earth by giving the Daleks The Taranion Element which would enable them to power their Supreme Weapon: The Time Destructor.
The Daleks and Mavic Chen chase The Doctor, Sara and Steven through Time and Space to Ancient Egypt: Where Steven and Sara met the Meddling monk. Sara, Steven and The Monk are then caught by the Daleks and Mavic Chen

I don't know what anyone else thinks about this but maybe it is because most of the story is missing we appreciate it so much? A bit like when the Tomb of the Cybermen was lost, and everyone had high hopes and memories for it but when it was discovered they were disappointed (i like it though lol)

Maybe if we have this whole story back one day it will turn out to be too long (like some think about the War Games) or the missing episodes might not compare very much to our imaginations?
