Les Claypool aditioned for Metallica and was turned away because he was OVER qualified . Primus is awesome . Rush is one of my favorite bands and I think it cool as hell that Less would want to do this tune it's very challanging to do . I saw Primus one time at Bunratty's in Alston Ma. . They showed up but there equipment didn't ( not ALL of it anyway ) they played anyway with borrowed gear . It was an awesome show .

I've been digging Rush for over 30 years and have listened to this how I don't know how many times. I've got to say, this is a really good cover. I'll have to check out Primus a little more.

Rush is my favorite band of all time. The other Rush fans in here hating, get a fucking life. You don't like it, don't listen anymore. I think it's awesome that Primus is paying homage to a band they enjoy, too. Fuck off haters.

This is a very difficult song to perform. The fact that Primus covers it this well live is quite a testament to their musicianship. It's kind of silly to compare two bands by how band B covers band A's song. If you ask a Rush fan which is better, the answer would be obvious. If Rush covered a Primus song and Primus fans were asked which version they liked better, that answer would also be obvious. So, let's not waste time with these comparisons and appreciate two dynamite groups.
