Who can resist McGriff, a pioneer in bringing jazz to funk. Purists may have shunned musicians like him but, hey, so what? The covers to some of Jimmy's albums were risque for the time. The Ohio Players musta looked at him and said "Damn, tone that down some". A Tribe Called Quest sampled this for....

  • My Father was Amember of Mr McGriff's band back in the 50's amd 60's I'm tring to get copy's pf all the alum's he made with them, Including Black Out..
