  • hey, so i have 2 questions...u said everything that comes from a face is a fat... so does that mean that vegetable oils such as olive oil, sunflower oil, canola oil and sesame oil etc are not classified as fats? And what about fruit that poeple refer to as vegetables such as avocado, eggplant, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers etc... can they can be consumed with fat or are they classified as carbs?

  • @7kittyrina7

Hi there - this is the problem trying to get a 400 page book into a video! Oils are of course fats - the rule of thumb for the less obvious fats is the 'faces' tip. What's a fruit and what's a veg does have much debate - on your list - only avocado is not allowed in the first 5 days and must be eaten with caution after that (book explains why). Toms/cuc/pepper/eggplant - all OK at any stage of the diet

    Hope this helps

  • It is my house! Thank you for your lovely comments. It is a very freezing house at the moment as we are having mad snow in Wales and the house is not easy to heat with old stone walls! x

  • @razerfish Its called nutrition because its anout giving the right quantities of nutrients to the system otherwise it was called calorietrition.. U cant expect to speed up your metabolism by providing less calories(energy)hoping that your body will burn more out.. thermodynamics lows do not say that!!! Zoe explains very well on her video about weight loss and thermodynamics!! all the best to u!!

  • @razerfish lowering your calorie intake might be effective in short term.. NOT in long term!! how can u expect to give your body less calories and force it to burn more without making u tired, hungry and causing all sorts of starvation problems!? are u familiar with the Starvation Experiment done in Minnessota by dr.Ancel Keys in the 50s?? people did loose weight but Gained it all back and even more.. Work with your body Not Against!!!

  • restrict your calories, get about 75 -125 grams of protein a day and you're good to go. None of this other stuff matters. Nutrient partitioning doesn't make a difference to the body. Restricting your calories is the only proven method of weight loss and it's a very simple thing to do. Just stop eating so much!

  • This is a great, very informative video! I finished the first phase and my pants are falling off! I just bought these Jeans 2 months ago and can't wear them anymore! Yikes! What a great problem to have! Thanks Zoe! Now on to phase 2!

  • Cool house Zoe!

  • I love your house - I've watched several of your vids and in every one my eye is wandering to the background to admire the simplicity and style of your house (I assume it is your house?). I am listening as well - honest!
