This guy built, out of the side of an Alaska mountain, a water recycling, self-sustaining shelter. Out of some fairly simple stuff. The goal was for third world countries in desert areas to have a model to build homes by. Somewhere Kevin Kostner is kicking himself for drinking the urine straight in Waterworld...

Because I can purify it well enough to fully reuse it. It is a fully closed system, no well or septic. I have a virtually unlimited supply of water (because it doesn't go anywhere), but only "use" about 1-2 gallons/day. Search for "biorealis biofilter" for how to build info

Hmm... Interesting, Not sure why a dry well type wouldn't suffice? Seems like a lot of fuss for gray-water.
Thanks for the info.

@watercatwn6535nd cost . 15-20 thousand for something to poop into is stupid. Excavation is a ripoff and so is install. This is great.

We run it through our indoor wetlands and reuse it. What else?

UV is best, but bulbs should be replaced every 3, 4 months at most.. Ozone will kill everything, and oxidize everything. Ozone is actually pretty dangerous when not handled properly. This gentleman WILL have a leak of ozone since he is not using proper tubing; he should be using silicone.
