Although exact footwork is not required or judged in AKC rally or obedience, using good footwork (that you practice diligently with your dog and perform consistently) will not only help your heeling but also your teamwork. This video presents one way of doing consistent footwork for many of the exercises.

  • Welcome to the wonderful world of Rally. Love to help - if you have questions please ask. Are you on the rally obedience list at Yahoo? It's great, lots of judges and teachers (I'm on there) - and experienced exhibitors. Also a great file section. Attending a show and Go is wonderful, none of those around here. You will learn a LOT. What kind of dog do you have? Take it you are training alone. Good luck, please ask if you have questions.
