@14flying Hey, I just bought a cable. I'll make a video about it later. But all you need is a quarter inch to an eight adapter. then a small cable with two male eight inch plugs on both sides. It will then plug into your cam. The whole thing will cost you under 15 from radio shack.

@gilz16 Yes, that will capture ATC talking at us. But to capture our converstation, we'd need the ICS to audio-in on the camera.

Yeah. Wish I had hooked up the camera audio to the ICS. Next time.

when you say that your mic isnt plugged in, you mean into the jack that would have your voices go over the PA??

yes, we didn't have our intercom plugged into the audio input on the camera. will have to get that working next time.

also, just becuase ive only flown twice and it was a piper warrior, there were 2 inputs, so is there a third one for the intercom, because on the headsets we used, it only had 2 jacks, so did urs have a third or are there 3 inputs and two jacks on the headset, im sorry for being o curious, I was just wondering how it is.

the cirrus has the standard mic and headphone jacks that allow you to hook your camera into the intercom system so you can get audio when recording a video. there is also an audio input jack in the center console which can accomodate a standard 1/4" plug so you can plug in your mpe player or other audio device so you can listen to music through your headphones.
