  • @MrNikcccc any kind of Hard wood,, soft wood will bend & Warp i used this timber because it was laying around in a Lumber yard & no longer alowed to be milled in Australia it's history of being used in many applications of the construction of Australian Buildings boats and Structures and i liked the grain Cheers

  • Hi tube Heads this is my first Built Diddley Bow the Timber used is Tasmainian Oak a Female guitar jack,Machine Head tuner,iv'e since Changed the Tuna can to a long Sardine can and put a nail under the string Bridge i was finding it hard to tune to key-A it tunes up great now and put masking tape on to mark a fret board befor burning it in the suface
