@SomeoneMagazine No! Not in the first one! Stop arguing with everybody lol, I read the HL Wiki and follow Valve a lot. They had planned for her to be Gordon's daughter, but then realized for HL2 she would make a better Damsel in distress, and if she was the daughter Gordon would have to end up talking to her, which they didn't want.
So for HL2 they made her the daughter of Captain Vance, but then combined Captain Vance with Eli, and she's now Eli's daughter.
Stop being so ignorant!

@MyJack007 no they didn't, no it's not. HL2 and Alyx did not exist and were not planned when HL1 came out.

@VannahWilson Finally she is not Alyx, Alyx had in that time more or less 14 years , I repeat more or less, to have 24 in Half life 2, Because 10 years is the time that pass between Half life and half life 2 (Just listen Kleiner in episode one to listen these). I thought that that baby was a boy becase I´ve supposed that the developer want express if the baby was a boy or girl with the dress, but thanks to you, now I know that in these case, is a girl but it is not Alyx.
