Seriously! It's true "People kill more people than ferrets, people should be banned." Ferrets, if taken care of, make great pets just as dogs and cats do. I can understand don't have a huge Boa Constrictor or a Tiger, but there are some nut jobs that will in their own tiny apartment! I say don't ban them, just require a license, just like other states. It drives me crazy to know my city is run by ban/law-making happy nuts. Ferrets for Freedom all the way!

Ferrets are illegal in NYC (not the whole state, just the city), in all of Cali, and in Hawaii.
There may be a few more cities or districts that require license ownership so please do check your laws before you get a ferret. Just because they sell them in the pet store, does not make them legal.
I love my ferrets, I wouldn't give them up for the world :) They are special little animals but definitely not for everyone.
