Sydney's 2010 Moose Hunt_0001.wmv

My neice drew a youth moose hunting permit in Delta Junction. My dad, brother and I took her out in mid September to hopefully fill the tag. We had an exceptional hunt, and Sydney not only got her first moose, but her first kill ever. What a way to start your hunting career! She did a phenominal job, including helping pack out the meat, and processing back at camp. Truely a hunt to remember. My brother backed her up on the shooting, but her first shot was true and it was obvious to see it was a killing shot and the backup was not needed.

Great hunt Sidney! I'm proud of her and i'm not even her father. What caliber/rifle is she using? I would like to get my 10 y.o. a rifle she can handle.

@giodazip She was shooting the family hand me down .243. My 10 year old daughter shot her first moose this year with the same rifle. I have that video on here as well. If you look for Ambers 2011 moose, I believe that is the title.
