in Starcraft 2, you can click on your command center/nexus/hatchery and rally it to a mineral patch, then from there all of your new workers you make will automatically go to the minerals and start mining for you.

In Starcraft 1, you have to manually click on the worker and make it mine.

I've played WC3 for years and only recently got back into SC. The only two things that I dread when playing SC is that I can't select multiple buildings at once, and that I can't do rally commands out the ass (aka shift+ click).

I am sad to hear that starcraft 1 is going to fade....I hope it will never fade away because is one of the best RTS in the world....and the main thing i like it so much is because of the zergs(they are great just ask jaedong)^ . ^

not really, because if you watch those gosus play sc2 , who played sc 1 , have about 1/2 the apm, when they had in sc1 , so like 300 ~ apm in sc1 and 150 in sc2 ... its for me too, i had about 250 apm in sc1 (or better, still have :) ) in sc2 I have only about 120-150 and thats MORE than enough ... believe me , and that makes the game kinda slow for me, i dont like that, but the game overall is very good, i wouldnt say fantastic like sc1 when it came out, but its good

on the other hand, everyone who has used MBS at Blizzcon seems to say it's hard to go back and I for one really look forward to this feature.
