The world is gripped by fear, while Christ graces us with geniune peace. This sermon highlights the parallel story of "fear" and of "peace" in the bible, and shows how, through Christ, we have peace with God, and can also be the instruments of peace between people, if only we have the courage and faith to do so. This is the first of two sermons: next week, we will discover how peace can be applied consistently in life. Preached by Archbishop Scott McLaughlin, at Christ Anglican Church, Lexington, NC, for the 1st Sunday after Easter, May 1, AD 2011. Text: St. John 20:19-23.
