  • I wish there were English subtitles;) It's funny how healthy and handsome-ish Willem Dafoe looks when he's not playing creepy in a movie!

  • English subs please, or send me French girlfriend so she could teach me french. I promise, I'll learn.

  • @EmitFlestiKY

    EXACTLY!!!!!!!

  • esta mujer es muy sosa, charlotte

  • I like Willem Dafoe and the french girl, but Antichrist was garbage.

  • Charlotte Gainsbourg :)

  • @OptimusNice Exactly. Why is the violence and sex in this film deemed so shocking or provocative, when people are bombarded by vastly more mindless violence, explosions, random kilings, rapes, etc, everyday in mainstream hollywood films, video games and ordinary tv shows? Shows just how fucked-up our culture is! A serious movie by a real artist with genuinely talented actors is asked to justify its existence, while hollywood shlock is treated to fawning media ass-kissing award shows!

  • @urthcreature No it's not really more extreme than other explicit movies. The difference is that this is a quality motion picture, and the characters experiencing these things feel real, and as such the violence feels more real as well. It's not a light watch, but definitely important to mainstream art cinema and cinema as a whole.

  • @urthcreature Because it's the violence of a woman. We are in a world where we look at the violence of men as something normal and the violence of women as something against their own nature.

  • Le public voit décidément trop de merde. Résultat, devant un chef d'oeuvre, il ne sait pas que c'est ça qu'il regarde.

  • @urthcreature its not really scary but it is very disturbing
