Grand Ayatullah Sayyid Kamal al-Haydari answers a question pertaining to the status of women according to the Ahlul-Bayt School of Thought. The question was asked by a caller on the show "Theological Discussions".
@mynihilus I understand where you are coming from. He is giving examples, because for a point to be proven credible you need examples, no? Many muslims are ignorant today and would just argue 'but we haven't said otherwise' so the Sheikh is valuing that actions speak louder than words and he is pointing to real life situations that you cannot argue against.
hes not attackin but givin clear points................ respectively logical between shia's believe n otha sects in Islam. so there alot of differences if u READ and weigh. IQRA'. if u do not read from all muslim sects Belief, then do not assume without knowledge and trying pathetically argue. Lest u look Jahil- tha Ignorant
@AutumnsSpirit i did not deny that he is very knowledgeable indeed but if you state that facts is his weapon, then what's to stop the wahhabis and supporters of ibn taimiyyah to say the same thing: that they're arguments are also based on facts! and let's be honest, what we deemed as facts sometimes isn't necessarily so.
@mynihilus he didn't attack them ... if stating facts is insulting or seen as an attack then probably ibn taymiyyah and his followers the wahhabis are weeker than they really are. Now that is sad! Reality is, these people who claim to be muslims while insulting other muslims and non muslims mostly with lies are deviating from Islams true message and spirit with their backward interpretation of islam and quran! Sayed Kamal is a man of great faith, knowledge and ethics and facts is his weapon!
why is it necessary for him to attack others to prove his point? he could still make his point without attacking the wahhabis and ibn taimiyyah. this is just sad.
I love and respect him a lot.
