I'm Swedish, and I actually thing that Dutch and Swedish sound more or less the same. Not that we can understand each other's languages, but the melody of it is very similar. I'm not defending the comment asking if the man was the Swedish chef from the muppets though. Just saying that the two languages are actually not radically different.
By the way, I love this song! :-D
