@scrapheappoet one of them there book? How much Roy or Bono for that matter do you really listen to, or is this just another religious thing? I love god don't get me wrong, but please dont bring it to a roy song that wasnt meant to be religious. Thank you so , for being a faithful follower though :)

Bono often refers to she; meaning the church. I done read it in one of them there books. Walk On. So as one listens to U2, you can find this practice in songs like She Moves In Mysterious Ways, Grace and I Can`t Live With or Without You. And to that yahoo who emailed me a couple of years ago saying it wasn`t in the Bible; and Bono is no saint; pound salt Flanders. The Bible says we are all saints. oh my. this 1 is tough. bono's greatest written piece and roy nailed it. chills when and if i hear it. this is as close as perfect pop/rock ever. like a good phil spector,beach boys and beatles work, same vibe...epic. oh and tbone burnett produced this diamond. 23 years later still great.

Roys vocals cannot be matched, i have never ever heard someone sing at this level with the vocal range he had, I am 24 years old and this is one of my favourite songs. Not just vocally but also the lyrics in this are brilliant. x
