To memorialize one of the most successful hit factories in music history, a beautiful, colourful and thrilling music revue has been produced: SOUL OF MOTOWN tells the story of BERRY GORDY, who founded his label MOTOWN with a start capital of 800 Dollars in 1959. He did this with the clear conviction though, that he would become rich -- but he barely believed that he would be that quick. Within a few years MOTOWN became one of the most successful record companies in the USA and is still considered a hit factory. Artists like DIANA ROSS and her SUPREMES, THE TEMPTATIONS, THE FOUR TOPS, MARVIN GAYE and STEVIE WONDER brought the company not less than 110 "Top Ten"-hits between 1961 and 1971. In the early Seventies, MOTOWN launched their biggest international coup so far, the JACKSON FIVE with their lead singer MICHAEL JACKSON. In later years, BOYZ II MEN, JOHNNY GILL, ERYKAH BADU and MICHAEL MACDONALD were responsible for the new MOTOWN sound. With this impressive history the name MOTOWN and the attached sound has become a landmark for everybody who is interested in music.

The show SOUL OF MOTOWN tells the story of the pop phenomenon in beautiful pictures, with great props and nostalgic costumes and presents all the biggest hits of the label in one stunning production. The fan can look forward to an energy driven, extremely dance oriented and nostalgic, yet modern show full of spirit, fantastic musicians and great melodies. A night full of the SOUL OF MOTOWN!
