Electric fuses are used for remote ignition. Because of absence of pyrotechnical coating, it is possible to send igniters by air mail. The heating temperature is sufficient to ignite gunpowder or paper without an intermediate pyrotechnical material. However, it would be desirable to cover the operating surface of the igniter with pyrotechnical material on your own seeking to increase reliability.

  • Great video! I saw that you get nichrome wire from a soldering iron on your website. Very interesting. I purchase it in small rolls online or on Ebay.

  • what is that blackcoating on the wire? and how did you connect the nichrome on the wires? Please reply, I checked your website and see no materials or what so ever related to my question. Thank you!

  • hey how did you made the coating and connected it to the wire? I want to know please reply..... thank you
