This covers building the stand for the Modular Rocket Stove. The stand will make the stove easier to tend and it doubles up as a wood storage bin. Double doors make it easier to get wood out whether it is full or near empty.

  • I ran into a bump in the road when we moved shop but in the next video I will address that. The stand was made from 26 GA galvanized steel. 24 GA gives a stronger stand but, by design, the 26 GA is adequate. I'll do better on that.

Cross breaking is making a small bend from corner to corner to stiffen the metal up (thus it looks like an X or cross).

  • I would have liked to see how you bend the whole edge so neatly, especially when you bend the whole edge into a U or S fold.

Close ups of your cutting would be nice to see as well. Could you also add (in the description) what material you're using?

    What's "cross breaking"?

Sorry about all the questions; I'm a novice.
