It's much more natural for your horse if you wrap towards the inside, or head to tail... I've heard that if you wrap their legs in this direction it can cause bandage bows easily. If you look at their legs (especially the front ones) from the back, you can see that their tendons actually do face the inside a little, so it's more comfortable and supportive if you wrap the way their legs naturally go ;) Plus this way the wrap pulls on their tendon significantly more

Yikes...I'm a little worried about all the wrinkling. When I bandage I'm scared to death of a wrinkle or pressure spot worrying about bandage bow, but everyone has thier own way to do things and this must work well for her and her horses.

I am completely astounded that you teach at a college.
If you bandage all your horses like this I wouldn't be surprised if they turned up lame! It's scary to think you have probably taught this to all your students...

apparently stable bandages and travelling bandages are exactly the same...it doesn't surprise me its wrong, she teachs at Plumpton, that means nothing!!
no way!!! she needs some lessons in how to actually bandage!!!!!
