CLEARLY you've never even seen snow nor have you at least shoveled it for that matter. So buddy you really have no right. Losing power is losing power no matter where your at? Hurricanes in the south, earthquakes in the west, snow storms in the north. There all disasters and it all effects people. And to compare storms like its a sporting event or something just really shows how ignorant you really are. Seriously i hope a disaster never happens in your area!

Fact is bud, much like Katrina, this is the most destructive storm WNY has had, in my lifetime, maybe ever. That alone makes a fair comparison. The owner of a local hardware store, who went to New Orleans after Katrina, commented on the local news about the similarities. So how about you stop acting like a self righteous martyr, because some people muttered "it reminds me of Katrina." It's not as if we're trying to get the nation to feel sorry for us.

No actually school was canceled because of 22 inches of snow, 350,000 people lost power, and a week after the storm hit I'm going up with some college kids to unblock driveways.
