@strawberriesncandii Yea. I mean if ur sleepin with someone that your in a committed relationship with you wont be getting a reputation. Plus STDs are less likely to happen if you are with someone you trust and you use protection with. Plus there is BC. There is nothin wrong with datin guys tho. I know plenty of people who date around a little and have had long term relationships but they never had sex.

@gat0rbball I'm already a college freshman. lolz. Yeah I get what you're saying. I think it's cool that you loved a girl. I don't feel comfortable around guys because I just think they're there to hookup and leave and I would be devastated so I keep to myself. I don't wanna get STDs or get pregnant and I don't want to be labeled a whore or slut because it is really easy for a girl's reputation to be ruined. That's really scary.

@strawberriesncandii Good luck with that. I am not. I have been with 2 people. One I loved. She wasn't a mistake. But remember not to let life slip by you when you go to college. Lotta girls(and guys too) put off a REAL relationship when they are in college because they think that other things are more important. Getting your grades and your carreer are huge, but I know I will never forgive myself if I don't get a family.

@strawberriesncandii Yea even if you DONT get attached it sucks. I have had one "1night stand". It was like 6 months ago and I had been drinking. I STILL regret it. I regret it because it was just a stupid idea and I am friends with the girl. It ruined our friendship because NOW if I meet a girl it gets akward introducing them because it is either LIE about having slept with her or tell and say I am still friends.

@gat0rbball I agree with you. I'm a girl and it's crazy to hear that people have sex without having a solid relationship. I would never have sex under those conditions because I most likely will get attached to the guy and get hurt in the end.

I HATE the hookup culture. It doesn't confuse me. It is all about sex. I don't want sex. I want a relationship. What is sad is that I am a GUY and yet I cannot find a girl who wants a relationship.

@rtardbox ok, now i'm totally confused. what the hell is "hooking up"? i'm 3/4 the way through and they're asking if it's cool to kiss or have sex on the 1st "hook up". what the HELL is a HOOKUP? does that mean a person meets you mutually with or w/o friends and has pizza or goes to a movie or bowling?

damn, i'm confused... i'll keep watching... and google it

to call sex "hooking up" is a mistake. it's another euphemism that causes confusion. like "sleeping together". takes the original meaning away. i say to people "let's hookup later" and now you stupid college kids will think i'm requesting sex. just call it the "fast bang culture" because "hooking up" and "sleeping together" are meaningless
