  • @zerussomaniac

    Moeller !

  • hate paiste chinas...

  • @BowProAce

2002 novo chinas are very nice I think.

check out paiste twenty as well.

alpha sensitive chinas are way better than the one I got.

but they're no longer produced :(

  • i got a new kit and all my cymbols i just need a ride, im debating between the pst 5 rock ride and the alpha full ride here, both 20 inch, i like both but u cant always trust the sound here, if you guys have owned them, wich do u recommend, i play metal/rock. if that helps.

  • You should definitely try them at the shop if you can ..

Regardless, it's "probably" safe to say that Alphas will provide you a fuller, more complex, less metallic sound

  • @MrSnazman18: Take the Alpha, you can keep this serie all your life 'cause it's already pro-quality. They are the best cymbal-serie you can get for your money...go and get it!

  • paiste alphas are great, if you play rock/metal, but not for other types of music. Sabians are usually a safe bet, zildjians are 50/50.... IMO.

  • @rbDrum01 word! sensitives were damn awesome. I'd highly reccomend the 18" rude china, for both of you. Mostly for you who hated paiste chinas. you have no idea what you're saying.

  • what camera or is it miced

  • @BowProAce I have a paiste 2000 china

    Sounds so good

  • @rbDrum01 I like my 16" Prototype china. It's awesome

  • Meinl

  • @MrSnazman18 I use a Paiste Alpha Metal Ride 20"

I'm in both a rock band and a metal band, and every single one of my members said they prefered the sound to my PST 5. they said for studio work it has better sound, and live, i could get some incredible sounds from both the bell and the body of the ride :)

  • @MrSnazman18 All my cymbals are Zildjian's, including a 21" A Custom Sweet Ride. I also recommend Paiste 22" Dark Metal Ride. I play metal too and use the DM Ride for bad accent fills and usually triplets during galloping on the bell. Plays well on the edge for some pretty narly blast beats.

  • @rbDrum01 not really both have are made different the pst5 collection is made alot like the 2002 line
