Unfortunate Realities for Prairie Dogs

There are many hardships on the plains that prairie dogs have to face today. From being target practice to being poisoned to catching plague. The fact is that the majority of the ranchers are trying to exterminate prairie dogs, which WILL be detrimental to the grassland ecosystem.

@atompkins99 Ya, you heard it, it's false. My family has ranched since the 1800s and I've never in my life seen or heard of it happening, ever, not even with horses. I used to shoot em for fun all the time though a kid. Not anymore. I would rather see more predator animals like hawks and foxes.
