In this video I show you a brilliant alternative to iTunes and Windows media player in Songbird. I also briefly show it's web browsing capabilities and it's customizable themes (feathers) and some of add-ons and plug-ins that I use such as MediaFlow, MashTape, LyricMaster, Last.fm.

Note the "Linux" version runs in Ubuntu but is difficult to install as it is a tar.gz file but is the only link I have for other Linux distrobutions.

Ubuntu (Installer Package): http://www.getdeb.net/app/Songbird (make sure to choose your version of Ubuntu and whether you are on a 32 or 64 bit system)

  • just downloaded song bird, i want to use it as my browser but it takes like over a minute to start up.

    how long does it take for you to start it up?
