It really is an intelligent show, from the double entendres to the instant contradictions. If you like brainy television you might want to check out a popular British series from the 80's, "A Bit of Fry and Laurie." Stephen Fry's bits are especially intellectual.

I almost cried when Niles says "I'm going to cancel dinner because I want to be alone." I absolutely love how supportive and sweet Martin and Frasier are to him.
