I ordered one of these recently for my MPC2000XL.
My only gripe is that the chassis on both of the drives don't exactly match up so it can be difficult to fit the screws but works fine.

Why would you ever use CompactFlash...SD is sooo much more common and easier to use and cheaper.

zip its shit, i used zip and suddenly it stops reading the disks,all my programs were delete just like that

@mpcstuff Please help! I just bought an Iomega 250 MB Zip drive for my 2000XL I just need to know where I can buy just the connector cables to hook up the drive to the board? mpcstuff.com doesn't seem to have the cables alone.

@rickylascaze001 yeah these are not hot swappable and that pisses me off to the point where i think i might go back to zips... that way i can team it up with my computer better

I actually don't recommend this drive its too much money for no reason its not even a hot swap, it only takes up to 1gb on cf cards the addonics drive is way better can read up to 2gbs which is better, the addonics drive isn't how swappable either but its only 26 dollars on amazon.

thinking about ordering the kit. the video's a bit confusing in regards to the 1.2 & 1.14 software. I'm fine with my current 1.14 software... I'm guessing I won't have a problem if I keep it and upgrade to the cf card hardware correct?
