The last time I was here and for many, many, years as far as I can remember, this was a dangerous area to be. There was a huge settlement of the houseless and less fortunate. They were a band of beach bullies as well as some good people. There was trash everywhere and no real safe public access. Locals could get by here, I don't know about the foreigners and their problems with the area, but I assume it would have been dangerous.
It was beautiful to see the place cleaned up. It was extremely clean. It looks like a bulldozer came in and bulldozed the camp and all its trash out. I'm not sure if it's still safe at night or not. There was beauty to be found there. I was elated to watch net throwing. We must pass on important things like natural, renewable, and nature preserving self-sustaining communities. This was the most beautiful, Hawaiian image I saw on this day. My mother, sister, bri, momi and Pomaika'i were with us.
What is the name of the song that is being sung?
