Buttercup was rescued Jan 29, 2009. She is estimated 700lbs underweight with a body score of 1. She was found in someone's garage eating bird seed and dog food. She was transferred from there to Equine Outreach horse rescue in Bend, OR. The trip exhausted her and she went down in the middle of the night. Her leg froze in the cold and she couldn't stand. She is now in a sling and making a miraculous recovering. We are not out of the woods yet, but we are hopeful. Support Buttercup's amazing struggle and donate to EOI today by visiting www.EquineOutreach.com. Buttercup's vet costs are very expensive and we could not do it without the help of private donors like yourself. We receive no grant money and no tax money. Every little bit helps! Buttercup will be available for adoption pending a full recovering.
Well done guys for helping this girl. Look forward to seeing her progressing further soon.
Damn those that can treat these wonderful animals so cruelly!
