I mostly fish one particular lake in south-central Arkansas. The only time I ever seem to catch pickerel on my yo yos is during the month of May. However, during that month, I usually catch a bunch. Spawning maybe?

just advice from experience u shouldnt put pike or pickerl on a stringer like that the teeth will cut the line so i oulwd use a metail one or put it threw the mouth

Good advice! I mostly fish for catfish and all I had was a nylon chord stringer. Guess I should carry at least one metal stringer for the unexpected. Thanks!
