Now whether one chooses to believe that the image in the mirror is a story-less facade, a mockery or a genuinely vivid portrayal of the Indian kaleidoscope is a matter more of acceptance than of opinion.

There is something special to this song called ARZIYAN which means "Petitions (To God)" and that is the Sufism-imbued notes. Its poignancy is echoed in the simplicity of its heartfelt cry, 'Maramat muqaddar ki kardo, Maula (Mend my fate, Almighty).' A song of this genre calls for flawless chemistry between its core voices, a requirement that is seamlessly exhibited in the range of Javed Ali and emotions of Kailash Kher. The killer tabla are back. The clapping, the soothing music and the brilliant voices make this song an instant hit. Whoa! A.R Rahmans first song composition after a really long time thats totally worth the money. I love the lyrics too. Full marks to Rahman!
