interesting...but doesn't work well in my opinion, just doesn't work as Perkins version. I prefer the original stuff Lemmy did. but that just my personal opinion, and nobody cares about the shit I think! and it better stay that way.

Because originally he played guitar, but when starting to play with Hawkwind they needed a bass player and he decided that he wasn't that good on guitar anyway. Thats the reason why he plays his bass like a guitar and why you see him with a six string in this picture. So much for the long version, but now for the short one: because he is god!
