  • A lot of people in Japan, including high schools been in streets calling for donations, hoping that the whole rescue etc will reach those who are in need. It is up to you to take is as whatever you want. I am not writing this to change anyone's opinion. However, hope you know what there really are people who do the best they can now, esp those who have suffered from earthquakes themselves. I too suffered from it, and can't help praying 一定要活下去。

  • Thank you for your words of support. It is very kind. Peace to you and yours.

  • China dose not need sympathy, she needs understanding. China dose not need comfort, she needs support. This is a nation whose premier flew to the disaster area in two hours after the earthquake. This is a nation that more than a hundred thousand rescuers were gathered immediately. This is a nation that 10 billion yuan were donated for the disaster by its companies and individuals. This is a nation that traffic jams were caused by people who are eager to donate their blood to save people's life.

  • Nothing wrong with people offering sympathy and comfort to those who have lost everything, lost their loved ones. Someone, somewhere, right now, is absolutely devastated by this disaster. I don't think they would care whose hand was offered in help.

  • Great you got to shoot it!! What a shame i didn't get it on my camera!!!! i was so shocked that i reacted too late by the time i remembered to take the video camera out!! i lived it anyway, and I will keep it in my heart forever... i wish i had kept the video too!! It was shocking to see China paralized for 3 minutes... so much solidarity, so many hearts altogether, and what a great lesson to other counries.

  • It was amazing to experience. I will remember it always.

  • ya i bet!

  • Yes,maybe. But I think they should be facing the southwest. In fact, it's the first mourning class for all Chinese people. So you should understand many of them didn't realize that. However, as I know, a lot of people actually faced Sichuan province when they are mourning at that time. Anyway, you gave a meaningful comment. Thank you.

  • I agree with you... each and every word, I DO agree with you...

  • A nation like this, will never be brought down! So please stand by all Chinese people, giving our best wishes for the people who survived, and pray for the victims with all our hearts!

  • Actually just coincidence. I just happened to be on that corner facing that direction. There was a bigger crowd gathered on the opposite corner, at the base of the building, facing us. Not southwest. I tried to zoom in to get them but the zoom is not strong enough on my little point and shoot.
