You are oversimplifying the issue. Japan & America have completely different histories and and even now are made up of completely different people. REAL racism is bad, but just pointing out someone does not look Japanese is NOT racist in Japan. This country is 99% Asian -- unlike America. The term YOU should be using is xenophobia, not racism. It's getting better but it takes time. Hell look how long it took blacks to get equal treatment in the USA & the USA was never 99% white. See?

@MadridHopper005 no way, my country place a very great deal on race. our residencies, our schools, our restaurants, our workplace, our laws...pretty much segregated. i dont know why people insist on making usa and its citizens as the bad guy, against most other country they are pretty great.
