To all those having a connection problem you must have DevMode enabled.
This can be done on your device by typing "upupdowndownleftrightleftrigh
tbastart", opening the DeveloperMode app, and enabling the feature. -
It took me a few hours and I had to watch several similar videos, but I was able to finally make my Palm Pre Plus (ATT) to work. However, the tethering did not work through USB cable., but it worked fine on wi-fi. Go figure... Thank you for posting.

@PalmPreReviewer Hey please help me out I keep clicking on re-install novacom and nothing happens. NOTHING. its the most annoying thing in the world.. WebOS has NO IDEA my phone is connected to it.. and then after that I can't even find the package manager to download onto my palm plus even if it would connect... So I have two problems left.. anything you got thank you.

You need to install novacom. To do so go to websquickinstall and go to file, options and click (re)installation Novacom

well listen i do believe you that it works but am losing my patience with this i've trying for a week to install a preware and or a keyboard to my palm pre AND I CANT SO PLEASE TO ALL YOU OUT THERE CAN U PLEASE HELP PLEASE AM SERIOUS...PLEASE HELP
