Akai EWI USB w/ Mr. Sax A on "Take Five"

The Sax Brothers, Mr. Sax A and Mr Sax B just came out today. Here is my fist demo of Mr. Sax A on "Take Five". Samplemadeling.com has blessed us with some fantastic softsynth saxes. They are very responsvie to breath control and track fast with low latency. Demo of the Bari Sax coming soon!

how would i get the mr sax sounds on my ewi4000s

@Sax121Man You can't get them "on" your EWI4000s. You would have to hook your EWII4000s up to a computer loaded with "Mr. Sax" and then use a MIDI/USB interface between the ewi and computer. Or just buy an EWIUSB.

Very nice sample modeling is the way of the future for all sample based synths not just wind. The key to a great sounding sample based sound is layers and articulations intuitively mapped to be controlled like a real instrument.The more accurately they record and program these samples the more layers the more realism and expression possiblilies.

Do you need to midi map the EWI to Mr Sax, or is it already pre-mapped?

Bernie your videos are great. They are a great resource and inspiration to any one getting to EWI. I plan on buying the Mr Sax stuff myself. I was wondering if it is possible to get into the overtone like sounds, reed stuff, and other FX. I see your doing it a bit in the video, is that the max you can push it or can it go farther?

@berniesax56 can you play with EWI 4000s with Mr Sax without pluging it to the computer? I mean can you load Mr Sax first onto EWI so you could play EWI without coputer and wireless
