240sx One year start Ka24de High compression

240sx was sleeping for 368 days with out one start in the middle on old gas, no starting fluid. just pulled it out and cranked her up!
*New KA24DE High compression motor Built on a peppy 11.3:1 compression ratio. sitting on solid motor mounts
only about 900 miles on motor before hibernation. pretty cool in my book

yes, that's a bad idea.. sell your enjen take and buy/chop an ebay one. put the extra $ in your pocket.

i just found the cheapest on i could find. i just chopped off 2/3 of it and kept the part that was connected to the intake and flipped it to the other side. easy, works well and keeps the filter away from the hot exhaust manifold.. good luck

yeah for sure.. relocate your batter to the trunk.. buy an cheap ebay cold air intake.. cop 2/3's of it off. connect all of you're hoses (idle control and valve cover breather).. get and addapter for your MAF. then put on a big cone air filter.. it made a pretty big difference for me. hope this helps.

about 165 right now (with out the tune). after the tune, realistically it should be around 180-185 i'm guessing. strong motor though...sometimes

ha yeah it does sound bad in this vid. the motor was sitting for a year so i'm sure that EVERYTHING needed some serious lubricating. but yeah for sure i'll post more

Oh wow, chopped intake plumbing. did that really make a big difference? I've got an expensive injen intake, but I would love to chop it just to get it away from my hot headers. who thinks thats a bad idea?
